The Codex Gigas E111

The Codex Gigas can be described as Alex's solo episode. It ties up a few loose ends and we get some juicy tidbits about Percival Black's side of the Story.  The Episode centers around the Codex Gigas a mysterious and Supposedly satanic book that was the start of the Order of the Cenophus .

Overall the episode is fairly decent it tells a good story bringing the plot forward towards the season final which is what the last couple episodes have been gearing towards. There was a lot to enjoy and a lot that passed by. Alex's meeting with "Sexy James Bond" was interesting and introduced more intrigue into the story that they play with in the second season. Another element that I loved is that they had Strand take a seat and passed exposition off to a guest star. It was a nice touch that bought  limitations to the character. It allowed Strand not to know everything and bought some balance to the  Alex "Whats This" and Stand "Spooky Ancient Culture Occult Stuff" Banter that we get in other episodes.
